Hello All,
My name is Tracy and I am a mum of two beautiful children aged 13 and 15 years, and wife to my phenomenal husband
of 16 years. These last few years have been quite a roller-coaster as any mother knows. I've been lucky enough to be able to stay home with my children, and I've enjoyed park play-dates, making baby food and attending mother groups, but something was missing. Something to keep my mind occupied and keep my sense of self intact. That's when I found a great company to work for called Usborne Books (www.usborne.com). Usborne specializes in beautifully illustrated and constructed childrens books. I wanted my kids to have all the books available, so I joined them as a consultant, and so began by dabbling into business ownership.
Later I turned my passion for scrapbooking into a business with my company called Give Me Time Retreats. I ran retreat weekends at local hotels where women could come relax for the whole weekend and work on their own passion projects like scrapbooking, card making etc. GMTRetreats was an amazing, fun business and I loved every weekend. I met so many amazingly, talented women. Unfortunately the business was beginning to interfere with family time so it had to go.
So what next? Well you see I have a passion. That passion revolves around saving and sharing memories. I have always loved talking to old folks. Listening to their stories. I have a fascination for old pictures.and family history. So, of course, when I married and had my first baby, I was a dedicated scrapbooker. I can't tell you the joy my children and I have, looking back on all the wonderful memories of their childhood. When Legacy Republic was presented to me, I just about fell off my chair, I was so excited. But I did my due diligence. Learned about the background of the company and checked out the competition. I was so happy to find that not only is Legacy Republic an off shoot of a very well established company called Yes Video, but that there is also no other company out there doing what we do. Hallelujah! I'm in!!!
